At MiarkiTech, we believe in building tools that respect your ownership. We are a two-person indie development team.
Whether you are tracking a workout or selling a craft, our philosophy is simple: we use your data to make the app work,
not to sell your profile to advertisers.
This policy applies to all our applications, categorized below:
- Personal Tools: Gamified Workout Tracker, TimeMemo, Notes App, Solar Flares Detector, Habit Tracker.
- Cloud & Community Apps: CraftForSale, Farmers App (Coming Soon).
1. The Short Version
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
- Personal Tools: Data is stored locally on your device or your private iCloud. We cannot see it.
- Cloud Apps: We store only the data required to operate the service (such as account details or marketplace listings) on our secure servers.
- Encryption: All data stored on our servers is encrypted.
2. Data Collection & Storage
We handle data differently depending on which app you are using:
A. For “Personal Tool” Apps (Notes, Solar, Workout, Freelance)
- Local First: We do not collect or store your personal content (journal entries, freelance logs, workout history) on our servers.

iCloud Sync: If you use multiple devices, these apps use Apple’s CloudKit to sync your data.
This data is encrypted by Apple and accessible only by you. We cannot access it.
B. For “Cloud & Community” Apps (CraftForSale)
To enable features such as user accounts, marketplaces, and team management, we store specific data on our secure backend servers:
- Account Info: Username, email address, and authentication details.
- User Content: Items you list for sale, photos you upload, or records you input.

Security: This data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
Access is limited strictly to the development team for maintenance and support purposes only.
C. Technical Data (All Apps)
We may receive anonymous crash reports and basic usage statistics provided by Apple
(only if you opt in via your iOS system settings). This data is not linked to your personal identity.
3. Specific App Permissions
To provide functionality, we may request access to specific device features:

Camera & Photo Library:
- Used by: CraftForSale, Notes, Freelance.
- Purpose: Uploading photos for listings, notes, or logs.

Apple Health (HealthKit):
- Used by: Gamified Workout Tracker.
- Purpose: Reading workout activity and saving progress. This data remains on your device.

Location Services:
- Used by: Solar Flares Detector and Farmers App.
- Purpose: Providing accurate local calculations and mapping features.

Notifications:
- Used by: All apps.
- Purpose: Alerts for habits, messages, or relevant events.
4. Third-Party Services
- Cloud Hosting: Secure third-party providers (such as AWS or Google Cloud) host backend services.
- Apple App Store: Handles all payments and subscriptions. We never access your payment details.

Scientific APIs: Solar Flares Detector uses public NASA/NOAA data.
These requests do not transmit personal information.
5. Data Security & Retention
- Encryption: Industry-standard encryption protects all stored data.

Retention: Account data is retained only while you use the service.
Deleted accounts are removed from active systems.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our apps are not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

This policy and any disputes related to our services are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
